Timepiece Scrapbook Day

Just a sneak peek of one of the pages we will be completing on the day.  The BoBunny Timepiece Kit is very Heritage oriented, but even if you don't have old photos, remember that today's photos are tomorrows Heritage.  With deep reds, browns and beiges, all tinged with chocolates and dark, dark navy these papers will give your black and white/and or sepia photos lots of life.  The class will be held on Sun 20th Nov, and repeated on Wed 23rd and again on Sunday 3rd Dec.  All at 10 am till 4.30 - Cost $50 - byo lunch.  Bring also your trimmer, scissors, distressor and an assortment of glues.   Still some spaces available.

Wednesday Night Cards 9 Nov 2011

Look what you can make with just one sheet of paper.  At this class we will make two "packages" and one card, plus there is a very nice surprise item.

EVERYONE is welcome.  The class tonight will run from 6.30-9.30 and there will be cake and tea/coffee and the cost will be just $5.  Some great ideas for Christmas, or even for birthdays or just gift ideas in general.   

There will be a lucky door prize too, as this is our last class for the year..........so come along and join us for a fun evening.  Even if you haven't been before, bring your trimmer, scorer, scissors and glue - everything else provided.   

Timepiece All Day Scrap

Following the success of our Bo Bunny Gabrielle day we are happy to have a day dedicated to the Bo Bunny Timepiece collection.  Everyone commented on the value for money, as well as the enjoyment of the day, and the Timepiece Day will be very similar.  For $50 your day will include a pack of embellishments, together with a complete pack of the Timepiece papers.  This time we wont just be completing pages, but will be learning lots of new techniques, there will also be an "off the page" component.  The day will be offered  on Saturday 12th Nov, Sunday 20th and again on Wed 23rd.  Tea and coffee will be provided, but byo lunch.

Perpetual Calendar

Here are the pages for the cover of the Perpetual Calendar.    You have a choice of making it with the Woodlands Fairy Cover, or with the Frame Cover. (A fairy can also be incorporated in this one too.)  Please tell me at time of booking in, which one you would prefer to use.  Numbers for each are limited.  The cost of the class which includes Paper Pack and ALL supplies required is $25.  If you would like to make one on the day and take the other one home to complete the cost is $45 for 2.  Once again you will have to let me know at time of booking.  Extra blank calendars (no paper packs) can also be ordered at $12.50 each.

As you can see from the first photo, there is space each month for a photo of a person, or place, just what suits you, complete with dates which never need replacing.

  

Classes: Saturday 22nd or Sunday 30th October from 9.30-1.00  Tea/Coffee and biscuits.  BYO Glue, popdots, double sided tape and you will need a paper trimmer and scissors.  Remember you must tell me at time of booking which one you want to do and if you want any more to take away on the day.

Wednesday Night Cards 14 Sept 2011

Paper Casting - Just bring a stamp the size of a card embellishment.  Something with good outline definition is important.  You can bring more than one stamp and make a couple if you like.  This is a good way of using your existing tools to provide lowcost, but unusual and very nice embellishments.  The usual cost of $10 applies.  You will receive printed instructions as well as a kit with papers etc.

Wednesday Night Cards

Wednesday night cards on the 17th August, 6.30-8.30 BYO cutters and glue - everything else is provided.  Cost $10.  Make 2 cards, a pop up one for the male star in your life and a girly one making dancers from wire, petals and wool.  So cute. 

Bo Bunny Gabrielle Journal - make on the scrapbook day

This gorgeous journal can be used for so many things......photo journal, special birthdays or recipes, or inspirational messages. 

I am going to use mine to record things the children say.

Bo Bunny Gabrielle - complete 3 Pages plus a Journal

 These are the most beautiful papers you are likely to come accross.  In the pack you will receive 24 sheets of papers and die cuts as well as a sheet of stickers.  In addition to that you will receive a bonus sheet of Gabrielle stickers, and a bag absolutely full of embellishments.  Included also is card stock and a 14 page photo journal.  Bring your own lunch, morning and afternoon tea provided.  Be prepared to enjoy !  and also be prepared to take home so many more papers and embellishments to work with at your leisure.

Never Ending Card

This Never Ending Card is fabulous and indeed is just that - neverending - you will find it sooooooo hard to put down.  It looks so complicated to make, but believe me once you are shown a few precise steps to follow, you will be making these cards for every one you know.  There never was another card with such a WOW factor.




Just open it





Then flip it with a twist of the wrist.........
Then twist and flip







Then open again and it will take you right back to the beginning.

Copic Pen Class

The next Copic pen class is on  Tuesday 9th Aug from 9.30-11.00 and is all about shading faces,  colouring hair and leaves using the Lorelei Stamps.  The cost is $15 and is followed by a class making the card shown which will teach you how to shade faces on LaLa Land Stamps.  It is also $15 and will be from 11.30-1.30.  Book in for both classes for $25.  BYO Copics.  Tea and Coffee provided.
The class is also offered on Sunday 14th August, all the above facts apply.

WELCOME

Portobello The word means "Beautiful Haven", and Venice must be one of the most beautiful havens in the world - But my aim is not to fill you just with dreams of where you want to be, but with beautifully designed craft items to fill that haven where you choose to relax and construct your craft.    I have been fortunate to travel to many countries, I have also been extremely lucky to have grown up in a family where time spent on craft was a daily event.  My grandmother taught me to knit and to crochet, and to dressmake, to work with raffia and to embroider, all whilst I was a very young child.
 

In my own home I Have made lampshades, Hobby Horses, made and painted Ceramics, painted fabric and canvas, all before I discovered the art of Cardmaking and Scrapbooking both of which encompassed all the other crafts I had ever learnt, and which quickly became my passion.
