Wednesday Night Cards - 18th April

Wednesday Night Cards on 18th April, will be repeated on Sunday 22nd April.   The Wednesday Class will be from 6.30-9.00 and the Sunday Class from 10.00-12.30.  The cost of each class will Be $10.  The Teacup Card makes a great bookmark, and actually comes with a T Bag.  Great for a card to say "lets get together for a cuppa" or lovely to send as an invitation for an afternoon or high tea.  We will also be making a beautiful Mother's Day Card which also makes a lovely birthday card for someone very special - As I have not yet made the sample you will have to take my word for it, but I can assure you it is gorgeous.

The stamp shown and used for the Tea Cup is from the new Stampin' Up mini catalogue (ours will be in English, this is the only graphic I had).   If you don't like the colour I have chosen, there are lots of others to choose from on the night.

Wednesday Night Cards 14th March

This gorgeous Easter Egg is so easy to make, so easy that it would make a lovely (though a little messy) project to do with the kids in the Easter Holidays.  Make a few of them to give as gifts instead of chocolate - You will also complete a card using new dies that are terrific for cardmakers, as they cut the edge, and then you can emboss.  Use your Versamark ink pad to the fullest in this lovely card.

I used the design of this card to accommodate any colours you may have. The brown background allows you to select your own colours for the flowers, the "rainy" background, and for the girls clothes and boots and the cat which you can omit if you choose. WEDNESDAY NIGHT CARDS RETURNS

As requested this Wed night we will be looking at some of the products purchased over the years and forgotten about and/or had difficulty using.  This week we will be looking at Perfect Pearls.  I must admit I had used them before and hadn't liked the results, but this time I perservered, changed a couple of the instructions and WOW, they are very nice.  The photo does not do the product justice.  In conjunction with the Perfect Pearls, we are going to look at a different technique when applying ink as a base - I liked this result, and also how to use your craft knife with a glass mat.  So come along on Wed for a fun night - I have a new craft area upstairs now, so please dont bring trolleys.  Just byo glue and d/s tape.  If you have a glass mat and/or a knife please bring too. Cost $10

NEVER ENDING CARD

A photo of the Never Ending Card can be found further down the blog.  This class is on Saturday, 18th Feb from 10-12.00 Cost $10.  There will be a choice of designs - the original one is cute and terrific for a Valentines Day card.  The other option is more generic.  But both are nice.  Again all you will need is glue, d/s tape and trimmer and pop dots.  Everything else is provided.

COPIC CARDS

This class will be held on 14th Feb from 10.00-1.00 and repeated on Sun 4th March from 10.00-1.00  The cost of this class is $15.  Everything provided to complete project except glues and of course pens.  The sample will be up in the next day or two, so keep watching
